To apply for RTC Networks Operation Round Up funds, complete this form. Funds are to be used for community betterment and/or economic development projects (i.e. cafe, grocery store, motel, ambulance services, fire districts, recreation, school/youth projects, etc.) Please note that funds will not be provided for medical fundraisers or general operating costs.

    Who Can Apply?

    Organizations that serve and benefit residents within the RTC Networks service area may apply for funding in the following areas:

    • Community service
    • Economic development
    • Education and youth

    Applicants must be eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or qualifying entities as outlined in the Operation Round Up bylaws.

    Contributions are not made for:

    • Lobbying, political and religious organizations
    • Veteran, fraternal, and labor organizations
    • Fundraising dinners or raffles
    • National fund drives

    What is Operation Round Up?

    RTC Networks is committed to enriching the lives of the people living within our service area by offering affordable telephone and internet services and through our steadfast commitment to supporting our communities. The Operation Round Up (ORU) program is an innovative community-service fundraising initiative which makes it easy and rewarding for our members to support worthwhile local projects.

    Operation Round Up is a voluntary program through which we “round up” your monthly bill to the nearest dollar. 100% of funds accumulated through Operation Round Up will be awarded to qualifying entities based upon applications from our communities.

    How Operation Round Up Works

    If your bill is $80.22, it is rounded up to $81 – the extra 78¢ goes to the Operation Round Up Trust Fund. Multiply all that extra change by the thousands of generous RTC Networks members who participate, and it makes a big difference in our local communities.

    Operation Round Up Trustee Board Members

    Money contributed to Operation Round Up (ORU) is administered by a tax-exempt, nonprofit corporation called RTC Networks Operation Roundup Inc. The Trust is a separate organization from RTC Networks and is governed by a 5 person, volunteer Board of Directors.
